We are a robust and talented crew with over 150 years of combined hospitality experience and over two billion dollars in FF&E and OS&E spend to date.  We amplify our hospitality experience with diverse professional backgrounds in design, procurement, project management, law, supply chain management, and hospitality operations. Our multidisciplinary approach to problem solving, coupled with our extensive procurement experience, provides our clients with unrivaled resources and intellectual capital. 

A canoe must be nimble and strong.  Canoe Hospitality has the experience, bandwidth, and technology to deliver white-glove, personalized service to our diverse range of international and domestic clients, from 1,000-room branded resorts to intimate, luxury boutiques.  Welcome aboard.

OUR STORY

Our legacy started with a visionary who recognized industry trends and emerging leaders long before the masses took notice. Steve Higgins built and launched Canoe.

Since 2014 the oars have firmly rested in the hands of Debbie Higgins, President; Shawn Fowler, Managing Director; and Ryan Shera, Director of Operations and General Counsel.  Debbie, Shawn, and Ryan have a combined 55 years of experience in the hospitality and contract purchasing industry. 

From the picturesque shores of Waikiki’s Halekulani where Steve began this adventure in the 90s, to Beverly Hills’ iconic Pink Palace, and eastward to Miami’s extravagant and irresistible Faena Miami Beach, Canoe has worked behind the scenes on some of the most iconic and recognizable properties in the world.
